What does Glitch Financial do to provide enhanced security measures?
Glitch Financial prioritizes user security with trade-only access to accounts and a non-custodial model, ensuring users maintain control over their funds.
What compliance standards does Glitch Financial adhere to?
Glitch Financial is committed to security and is actively pursuing ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance to ensure robust data protection and privacy standards.
What can I do to secure my Glitch Financial account?
We recommend using a strong, unique password that combines letters, numbers, and symbols. For an added layer of security, we require that all Glitch Financial users enable two-factor authentication (2FA). In addition, you should avoid sharing passwords and/or API Key Secrets with others.
What happens if I lose access to my 2FA?
- Google Oauth: If you lose access to your Gmail account, you will need to contact the service provider (Google) to recover access.
- 2FA: If you are using a 2FA, on the other hand, and you lose access to your phone or install your preferred authenticator application on another device, you can log into Glitch Financial, go to [Settings] → [Security], and scan the barcode on the screen to reset your 2FA.
Will Glitch Financial stay logged in if I am inactive?
For security purposes, if you are idle for more than 30 minutes, you will be automatically logged out of your Glitch Financial account. This helps prevent unauthorized access and protects sensitive data.
Does Glitch Financial have custody of my assets?
Glitch Financial is a non-custodial platform, meaning we do not hold our customer's funds/assets. We only provide the signals for your account's trades; the executions are conducted on the platforms/brokerages you connect via API, meaning your assets are held on those connected platforms.
