In this article, we've provided step-by-step instructions on how to connect your Binance account to Glitch Financial. For our visual learners, we'll be uploading a video tutorial in the near future.
If you haven't, sign up for Binance and complete KYC. If you already have an account, log in to your Binance account and click the profile icon, then [Account].
Once you arrive on the Account page, head to the [API Management] page, and click [Create API].
Next, you'll be asked to choose your API Key type. To configure your Binance account to Glitch Financial, choose [System Generated].
System-generated API keys use HMAC symmetric encryption.
Enter a [Label/Name] for your API Key. What you name your API Key is entirely up to you.
- Example Name/Label - GF Binance Wallet
Before the API is created, you'll be asked to verify through either your Authentication app or passkeys.
Once you complete your 2FA, you will receive your [API Key] and [API Key Secret]. You will need both to configure your account with Glitch Financial.
*API Key & Key Secret Management Tips*
Think of your API Key and Key Secret as passwords to your account. API Keys are supposed to be a secret. They allow access to services and data that are supposed to be protected from misuse. Store them with care! Many exchanges will not show you your API Key Secret a second time, so it is important you save this information somewhere safe and secure!
Now that you have your [API Key] and [Key Secret] and your account is funded, you can go to the Glitch Financial [Configure] subpage to connect your account. After clicking [Add Account], on the top right of your screen, you should receive a notification saying [Account Verified Successfully]. If so, you will be redirected to the [Overview] page, where you should see your funds in the [Account Value] box, located on the top left of the screen. If so, your Binance account was successfully connected!
If you by chance do not see your funds there after five minutes, please contact the Glitch Financial Customer Success team, and someone from the team will be with you shortly!
