How to Connect a Bybit Subaccount to Glitch Financial

Are you looking to utilize multiple crypto-related strategies on Glitch Financial using your Bybit account? If so, you're in the right place. With Glitch Financial, users can subscribe to more than one strategy; to do so, you must have multiple trading accounts to connect. Opening Bybit Subaccounts, specifically Standard Subaccounts, allows you to manage multiple independent subaccounts within your Bybit profile. 

This article will bring you through the process of creating Bybit Subaccounts, so you can diversify across multiple Glitch Financial strategies at once!

Now that you've created, funded, and connected your Bybit account to Glitch Financial, head back to Bybit, and click the [Human Icon], and then select [Subaccount], as shown below. 

Once you reach the [Subaccount] screen, in the top right corner, you'll see a [Create Subaccount] button. Click it, and when you are shown the various subaccount types, you will want to choose the [Standard Subaccount] option. 

Once you click [Standard Subaccount], fill in the following information (as shown below): 

• Subaccount Nickname - [*Insert Name of Subaccount] 
• Account Type - Choose [Unified Trading Account]
• Require Password for login - [Enable] 
• Username - Click [Automatically Generate], and make sure you save it somewhere secure. 
• Password - Create a [Password] of choice. Be sure to save it somewhere safe. 

If you haven't enabled 2FA for your account, you will likely be redirected to Bybit's [Security] section, where you will configure your Google Two Factor Authentication, which will be used to login, withdrawal funds, reset your password, and make account changes.  

Once your Subaccount is created, click on your [Profile Icon], and then click [API]. 

You will be redirected to the [API Management] page. Once you get here, click [Create New Key]. To connect to Glitch Financial, you will want to select [System-Generated API API Keys]. 

You will want to configure your account with the following settings: 

• API Key Usage - [API Transaction] 
• Name of the API Key - [*Insert Name of Choice]. 
• API Key Permissions - [Read-Write and No IP Restrictions]. 
• Read-Write Options - [Unified Trading]. When you click, it will check the necessary boxes. 

Once you alter your permissions and click [Submit], you will be prompted to enter your verification codes. The first code will be sent to your email associated to your Bybit account, and the second code to your two-factor authentication application. Click [Next Step] to proceed. 

Your [API Key] and [API Secret] are now created!  Think of your API Key and API Key Secret as passwords to your account. API Keys are supposed to be a secret, as they allow access to services and data that are supposed to be protected from misuse. Store these account credentials somewhere safe & secure! 

Now it's time to Fund your Bybit Subaccount. You can do so by conducting the following steps: 

1. [Log in] to your Bybit Main Account. ​

2. Click on your [profile icon] in the top-right corner and select Subaccounts.​

3. Locate the subaccount you wish to fund and click on [Transfer] next to it.​

4. In the Transfer window:

• Set the [From] field to your Main Account.
• Set the [To] field to the desired Subaccount.
• Choose the asset you want to transfer. Your Glitch Financial-related Bybit Subaccount needs to be funded with [USDT]. 

• Enter the amount to transfer. Your Glitch Financial-related Bybit Subaccount will need a [minimum of 2,500 USDT] to operate.

5. Click [Confirm] to complete the transfer.

Now that your Bybit account is funded and you have your wallet details, go back to [Glitch Financial], and paste them into the appropriate section in the Glitch Financial onboarding process! Here, you'll also be asked to modify your [Order Fill Aggressiveness] setting, along with your [Aggressiveness Multiplier], which can be altered once you add your account.

After clicking [Add Account], on the top right of your screen, you should receive a notification saying [Account Verified Successfully].  If so, you will be redirected to the [Overview] page, where you should see your funds in the [Account Value] box, located on the top left of the screen. If so, your Bybit account was successfully connected!
