How to Connect Your Oxsecurities (MT5) Account to Glitch Financial

In this article, we've provided step-by-step instructions on how to connect your OxSecurities account to Glitch Financial. If you are more of a visual learner, feel free to watch a live video here!

First, head on over to OxSecurities and create an account. If you already have an MT5-compatible OxSecurities account, log in. 

If signing up, proceed to insert your general information. After filling in this section, you can press [Send Verification Email]. It will automatically bring you back to the login page. Once you verify through email, you can proceed to login to OxSecurities.

When logging in for the first time, it will ask you to set-up your two-factor authentication methods. 0xSecurities allows users to add email, SMS, and authentication apps, such as Google Authenticator, for an additional layer of security. Although you can skip this step, we highly recommend enabling 2FA.

After adding your 2FA, you will be directed to the following dashboard (below). For Glitch Financial, you will want to open a [Standard (Live) Account].

Once you click the blue [Start trading now] button, you will be redirected to a [KYC Status] page. Here, you will:
1. Insert your personal information
2. Upload your identification documents
3. Review your application to ensure everything is 100% accurate.

Once you reach the [Submit Application] section, you will be asked a few different questions under the [Trading Account Creation] section, such as:

• Source Type - Select [MT5]
• Currency - Select the [Currency] you plan on funding account with
• Type - You can choose between the following options:
  • Standard [STD] account.
  • Professional [PRO] account.
• Leverage - You can choose between the following options:
  • 1:1 
  • 1:100
  • 1:200
  • 1:300
  • 1:400
  • 1:500.

Once your application is approved, you should receive two emails from OxSecurities. The wait time for application approval ranges between 30 minutes to three business days; most individuals are typically approved within two hours.

Once your application is approved, you will receive an email that looks like this (below). The email will include your [Account Number] and [Password]. Both pieces of information are needed to connect your OxSecurities account to Glitch Financial.  

The second approval email will send you the [Server Name], which will also be needed to configure your MT5 OxSecurities account to Glitch Financial. The email (shown below) will also show you how to [Deposit Funds] into your account, which will be needed to leverage your Glitch Financial FX-related strategy. 

Now, you have all of the information needed to configure your MT5 OxSecurities account to Glitch Financial. So, head back on over, and insert the following details: 

• Server - Type in [OxSecurities-Live], or find it in the dropdown menu. 
• Login - Your Login is the [6-digit-code] provided in your welcome email. It can also be found on your OxSecurities [Account Dashboard]. 
• Password- You were given your [Account Password] in the approval welcome email (Step 6). You can also find, and change, your password on your OxSecurities [Account Dashboard]. 
• Aggressiveness - Here, you can modify your Aggressiveness settings. Again, we have an educational article strictly dedicated to explaining how these Aggressiveness settings impact your Glitch Financial trading account. 
• Add Account - When you are finished, click [Add Account]. 

If everything was done correctly, you should see an [Account Successfully Verified] notification appear on the top right of your screen. Head back to the [Overview] page. After a few minutes, you should see your funds (in your OxSecurities account) displayed in the [Account Value] box. If you do, your account is live!
